Pizza Pizza!
So we love making our own pizzas and since we can't make dough as yummy as Uncle Christopher does we found another way. I know this isn't new but it's new to us and it was yummy. Just thaw out frozen Rhodes rolls and roll out, top with pizza sauce (we went to our local pizza place Cibelli's and bought some of their sauce just to make it even easier). Top with favorite stuff and voila you have easy individual pizza which is always a hit for us. Also, did you know you can buy mini pizzas at Papa Murphy's? They are 5" and only $1.00 plus 25cents for each topping. The kids loved picking their own toppings and they all got eaten so that's a plus! These are the pizzas made with frozen rolls...

Baby time!
A week before our sweet niece Emma Rachel joined the world we had fun celebrating with Maria. Here she is 1 week almost to the hour before Emma was born.
And here's the handsome Daddy trying the gooey buns before we started and good thing too because they were a ball of dough in the middle and I had to throw them back in for a bit. Mmmm we had the best food I want to do it again just to eat cinnamon rolls, granola, fruit kabobs, scones and gooey buns, it was yummy.
I copied a few ideas from other people but why do it any other way when there are so many good ideas out there. So to begin I saw THIS diaper cake and thought it would be great decoration. Well of course I couldn't have a cake without the cute push toy on top so I made one of those too. Here's my version.
I can always count on getting amazing ideas over at Stephanie's blog. She had a great idea for the guests to decorate onesies with fun designs, cute fabric and some heat n bond. Click here to see her idea. My Mom helped me create the fun designs and got TONS of onesies and bibs. It was a hit! Between the onesies and all the friend's gifts Emma has A LOT of clothes to choose from each day. Here are the girls having fun ironing their designs.
And I can hardly wait to see her in her blessing dress. Can you believe someone made this for her? Up close it's even more amazing!
And finally here is the little bundle of joy we got to see when she was just 2 days old. We drove out twice in one day to see her, she's just that cute!

Pinkalicious
Last week Kate's school had a day to dress up as their favorite book character. We brainstormed the night before and hoped we could come up with something last minute. Luckily Kate has an abundance of pink clothes and was happy as could be going as Pinkalicious. Ray did go to the store that morning looking for pink hair dye but I guess that's not a normal thing to carry unless it's Oct. She's decided next year she'll be purplicious and dye her hair, she's sure she'll win a prize for that. 
Cooking up flubber
Don't even think about cooking without this one helping out. If I say the word cook or even look at a mixing bowl she is on her way up to the counter. I think this time we were actually making flubber. She doesn't care if she can eat it or not, in her words she's happy if she can "dump" and "stir".

Here's a recipe for anyone wanting to try it. It's rubbery and a fun twist when you get tired of play-doh.
Solution A:
1 1/2 cups warm water
2 cups Elmers glue
Food coloring
Solution B
4 tsp. Borax (find it in the laundry detergent section)
1 1/3 cups warm water
Mix Solution A in one bowl, mix solution B in another bowl. Dissolve well. Then pour solution A into B, DO NOT MIX OR STIR. Just lift flubber out. Store in ziplocs. If you half the recipe, you only need to half the solution A and it will work the same.
