Rock Climbers

We took advantage of having fabulous weather and being so close to a great State Park this weekend. We can actually see this place from our back yard and it's just a quick 10 minute drive there. This place will definately be on the agenda for any visitors. It is beautiful. We walked maybe 1/2 mile out and it was just right for the kids. It was really busy on Sat so there were rock climbers everywhere. Fun Fact: there are over 1500 climbing routes at this park. Such a site to watch these climbers, I wish I had better pictures. E&T and the kids joined us and I'm so glad. Ray was working and it was much more fun to have company.

Makes my heart start racing just watching them but especially to see the guy who leads with the rope. If he fell the nearest clip was at least 20 ft ( I tend to exaggerate but I really think it was 20 ft). Luckily he didn't fall and all is well - sure is an amazing sport. Here are a few climbers, next time I'll try to zoom in on a few that are on the bigger rocks and much higher than these.

You guys are always so good to get outdoors and in nature with your kids. Kate's hair is so long! Both of your kids are so adorable. You are such a fantastic mom. I miss you!

Wow! How lucky are you to have all that beauty right outside your back door? Look how long your hair is getting (in the park pictures) are you growing it out? And, when are you going to post some pictures of your house? Hope all are happy and well!
