St Patty's

A little bit of paper, glue, toilet paper rolls and cereal boxes and the kids came up with some pretty sweet leprechaun traps. Although no Leprechauns were trapped they did stop by the house and left us some green donuts!

This is Jack's - he told me what to write "Leprechaun put some money at the end of my letters". He put the arrows on to let the little guy know where to go and then hoped he would fall in the tube.
Kate decided it wouldn't be nice to trap him so she left him money and made a cozy little home he could play in. The Leprechaun did leave her a note saying Thank you but he had many pots of gold and she could keep the money. And here's another fun thing of Jack's. Since this picture his plant has doubled. All this from a little sunflower seed he planted at preschool.

Hey Jack, did you know sunflower seeds are magic? If you plant it in your garden, then you will have sunflowers next year too! (and the year after, and so on...)

Those are awesome traps Kate and Jack!

Jack's plant somehow reminded me of WALL-E.

Nice traps!! Looks like you do some fun stuff at pre-school Jack! Brooklyn would have LOVED it this year...but I just registered her for Kindergarden and she's thrilled!!!
