Seattle trip

Since school got out a few days earlier than planned we decided to make good use of the time and go visit Robin and her crew. Her hubby is working out of town so Robin is flying solo with a new little one who still eats at night. I expected to find Robin a walking zombie when we got up there but she was the furthest from that. She is a ball of energy just go go going. I'm amazed by how much she can juggle and run and do. So I went during the week with just the kids and they did great traveling. Kate was the backseat mom and took care of everything. Here is a picture of all the kiddos our first night. We had a rousing talent show this first night with Robin as our highly-entertaining Emcee. We went for a bike-ride, toured the Seattle zoo, jumped on the tramp and were just fully-entertained by the other 6 munchkins in this photo.
And just to be honest our new niece was a big motivation for our trip.Lily thought she was her baby and got pretty upset if anyone else wanted to touch or hold her. I had to include a few photos because she just loved holding her any chance she got. Look at how happy Lily is in every picture.

Ahhh, they just couldn't get enough of their sweet little cousin, or maybe that was me. I'm daydreaming now about holding her again soon.
We were there for Lily's birthday and Robin even took the time to make her a cake. She makes such fun cakes, check out her collection HERE. She got a cute Caterpillar crawling through the dirt.

They gave her "If You Give A Mouse A Cupcake" book - love all those books. And cute Elaina even picked out some glasses that don't fit her anymore and wrapped them up. Can you tell Lily was excited? Even though the trip was short we loved it! Thanks for having us Robin!

very cute little cousin. I seriously thought she was a doll. She is so perfect looking. I bet Lily just loved her.
