I'm putting these up to show a few who have asked. Anyone that has comments on what kind of bag they would like to have, suggestions on design - anything is welcomed! Here are the latest two creations. I really like the blue and green one, it was made out of a thrifted skirt. The fun part is I get to see it put to good use, as a girl at church brings it each week. The green and white was made out of 2 thrifted shirts. It is smaller -I put more pockets on the inside this time, a place for pens, another for a cell phone, and two larger ones for whatever, plus two outside pockets. It has many mistakes but I learned a lot about what to do on the next one, so I guess that is the point.

WOW, WOW, WOW. I LOVE THESE BAGS!!! So cute! I am curious to know what you use to reinforce the bags if you buy whatever material at thrift stores. Nice designs. (would have loved to see that as a shirt!) haha. Krissy, do you sell these? I love it. Do you go by a pattern or just "whip it together". So crafty. What else do you have up your sleeve!?!
Thanks, I'm glad you like them. I use pellon - the stiffest interfacing I could find. I've also read you can use Timtex but I've never tried it. I meant to take a picture of the shirts before cutting them up, I made sure to take a few pictures before I cut into anymore. I did start with a pattern but like to alter them a bit. This next one I'm working on is without a pattern so I'll let you know if it works. I am going to try and sell bags eventually - luckily have had a few requests but I'm just getting going, still learning a lot. Thanks for being interested.
